Impeach Bush

I was (and still am) of the opinion that Bill Clinton was a total asshole of a president who deserved to be impeached (and convicted). Now in the spirit of bipartisanship, I extend my desire for impeachment (and conviction) to the current occupant of the Oval Office, George W. Bush, whose clueless incompetence has made the world as unsafe a place to live as it's been in a long time.

Item 1: His administration is composed of "neoconservatives," or, as Paul Craig Roberts more accurately describes them, neo-Jacobins, "a gang of radicals who stand outside of, and opposed to, the American tradition" of peace and liberty.

Item 2: These neo-Jacobins have been spewing lies left and right to justify their rabid fealty to the interests of a foreign government at the expense of American safety, not to mention sanity.

Item 3: These neo-Jacobins and their useful idiots are importing the fruits of their alien, totalitarian ideology into the domestic realm of American politics.

Now, as a believing Christian, albeit a spottily practicing one, I can't and don't wish for the death of anyone, even someone as loathsome as Paul Wolfowitz. But if Wolfie is going to so forcefully thumb his nose at the humiliated Iraqi people, he can't exactly expect to grow old and die peacefully.

Anyway, Bush is too dense to control these maniacs who are doing their utmost to start World War III, so the only solution I see is to kick him out of office. Now, of course I know this isn't going to happen, but I'm not talking about what's going to happen, but what should happen. I also know Cheney would assume the reins in the event of Bush being removed from office, and he is arguably worse. But it's another year until the next election, and given the destructiveness of this administration, you gotta start somewhere.
