"More than 100 cities and one state have passed resolutions condemning the USA Patriot Act, saying it gives the federal government too much snooping power," according to this AP story. Maybe ordinary Davids out in the hinterlands will take on the federal Goliath without going gentle into that goodnight of the garrison state.
